It’s Friday!!

*doing happy Friday dance in my chair*

I am going to take a wild guess and say that Greg and I are not going to go to the O’s game tomorrow (the all you can eat game). We are too poor (accepting donations). But, that is fine since it gives Greg and I a chance to finish up all the little things with the move (taking my old mattresses to the dump, cleaning out my car and Greg’s etc.). Also, Greg and I are going to take Amelia down to my Mom’s for the week to allow for us to save some money for the new sitter, Mrs. L, so we hope.

On Another Note…

My car. I’ve had it since Monday and I’ve noticed two things ‘wrong’; 1. the radio reception sucks and 2. the left headlight is higher/brighter than the right. So this morning I called the repair shop and told them the issues and they said I could bring it in. I asked if they were open on the weekends and they said no (!!!!) and that there hours are M-F 8-5 (great, mine are 9-6 no including the time I need to drop off and pick up Amelia). Works great for my scheduled life… so I told them that I would be there Monday morning. Now get this; when my insurance company called me last Friday (the 17th) while I was at the doctors office informing that the car was ready, blah blah blah, and when I dropped off the rental and the rental company said the insurance company stopped paying for the rental on Friday (meaning I would have to pay for Sat and Sun) , I can now use this new information about the repair shop not being open on the weekend to pick up my car therefore the insurance company should pay for the rental. Right? In any event, I left yet another message for my adjuster. Let’s see if I get a call back. Also, I am going to submit a complaint to the insurance company regarding my experience (after all, this was my first accident with full coverage insurance) and it isn’t going to be pleasant.

I can’t wait to get home tonight and taste the tender roast that is slowly cooking in the crock pot as I type. I’m going to make garlic mashed potatos and we’re going to have a nice salad as well. MMmmm good! I did forget to buy corn starch to make the gravy but I think that I reduce the juices in a pan it should be enough.

Yeah… Greg and I went over budget on shopping last night. Our goal was $50 and we ended up spending $77. But, all in all we’re under budget so far in total for groceries. Greg is so organized with his money; he has everything budgeted by pay period and what not. It’s kinda cute.

Well, I am going to focus on work… a little… I’m sure I’ll be back.
