Sheesh this weekend went by fast!
Yesterday was just as quick as today! We headed down to Waldorf a little after noon and we made it down by 2pm. The drive was uneventful (unlike last time) and Mom, Greg, Amelia, myself, April and Olivia all met at The China Bufett and hung out for about two hours!! Olivia is getting big and Amelia is becoming more of a handful. April is looking good for post c-section (three weeks and one day post) and is pretty much back to normal (quality of living).
After the buffet Greg and I head up to his old place to grab a few more things but it was so freaking hot we only grabbed small petty items; afterwords, we came home and started to really unpack a lot of items and move around some furniture since I didn’t like how the layout was. All the while a wicked storm brewed and Greg and I stopped what we were doing and went out onto the balcony and watched the storm for about a half hour or more. I was surprised that our power didn’t go out! There were many times the thunder and lightening was right above us! Even someones car alarm went off because the thunder was so loud! Greg and I were loving it!! We took a lot of pictures and video on Greg’s camera and as soon as he uploads his pictures I will post a link (for those who are interested in seeing the pictures). During the storm, Greg fell in love with the condo even more because we were able to be outside and watch the action from the top floor AND we didn’t get wet from the rain!!! He mentioned something along the lines of “The move is so worth this view”. After the storm, there was a pretty interesting lightening show and Greg and I moved on to the unpacking until about midnight or so.
This morning Greg and slept in until 9am and began the laundry and more unpacking of the clothes and what not. We did this until about 3pm or so and headed over to the old place to get more and only ended up getting the computer, movies and glasses. Last night we learned that we were able to pick up a wireless signal from the PSP and became all excited because we can then connect with the outside which will make things more fun since we can read the news and whatnot and can hold out on the cable. I have no idea whoes signal we’re using but so far so good.
Once the computer was set up and turned on I uploaded my pictures and here I am now. Also, in between this and watching Top Gun, I am updating my Netflix account and adding some movies to the queue. Anyone have any suggestions to rent? I am pretty much clueless at the moment of what’s out there. I could spend half a life time going through Netflix but I don’t want to. I like the horror/mystery mix, some ‘chick flick’ movies (loved The Notebook) and action movies as well as comedy.
Ok, I’m done and getting hungry.
