Weekend Stuff

This weekend was pretty low key. Didn’t really go out and do anything big like a park. It was pretty warm for an October weekend. Like, really warm.

Saturday, I finally watched Letters from Iwo Jima. I don’t what kind of opinion I have for the movie. I probably won’t watch it again, yet it made me want to rent Flags of our Fathers. Sometimes I like the history movies, but I have to be in the mood for them. Once the movie was over, Greg and I went to bed and watched sopmething about WWII on some channel. I don’t remember the details because I fell asleep in a matter of minutes. Greg and I did run a few errands; we ran over to Target to return the table cloth; went to the Hair Cuttery to get his hair cut and my eyes waxed; ran to Game Stop to look at a few games - didn’t see anything that stood out worth my money; and finally to the grocery store for a few small items for The Ralston Social Club - Brunch Edition. And then we called it a day.

Sunday, has been pretty slow yet fast at the same time. Amelia woke us up at 7am, again. We got her showered and fed and then we did the same. Started the laundry and left around 10:45am for Tim and Brookes. Before we left, we put a roast in the crock pot for dinner tonight. We arrived at Tim and Brookes around 11:30 (had to stop and get milk) and hung out until 1:30. Amelia, of course, was a hit. And now that she’s more interactive, she was able to participate. Remember, the last RSC, Amelia wasn’t crawling and was hardly sitting on her own for long periods of time. A lot has changed in four weeks. The brunch was a lot of fun. There were new people at this function and some other co-workers of Greg’s that I got to meet.  All in all, I had a great time!

Here are a few of my favorite pictures:

Also, Greg recorded a few clips of her playing the drum. I’ve uploaded them to YouTube and here’s one.

Greg and I left around 1:30 and were home by 2. We hung out at the condo for the rest of the afternoon. We were going to head over to Greg’s Mom but Greg wasn’t feeling well so we came home. We played on the bed with Ameila. We gave her gerber hand food since she finally has teeth coming in and she actually ate it! Sorta, but more than I was expecting. After a while, Greg took a nap and I fed Ameila and played with her on the floor. When Greg woke up, I uploaded the pictures onto Flickr and YouTube, worked on dinner (what little work was requiered) and here I am. Though, i’ve taken a few breaks along the way.

The email battle with Adam continues. I will write more about that later. Basically, I’m not even going to write him back. I’ve re mailed the forms and now I just wait for him to do his job, right.

Greg and I are actually enjoying Bridzilla and it’s on so I’m gonna go.
