Wow! This day is taking f.o.r.e.v.e.r. to end!
I swear the 2pm hour felt like 6 hours to complete!
blah!
At least the final hour has arrived…
I am excited that Lisa will be sitting behind me and that she’s going to be on the marketing team with me (she should be excited for the commissions)!! It’s going to be like the old days when we worked at PRP.
Speaking of PRP, I went to see if their website was still up, www.prpi.com, and it isn’t! Yet ct.com, www.clinicaltrials.com, is still up an running, though severely out dated. While I had PRP on my mind, I surfed through myspace and ran across someone that I used to work with at PRP and saw that the old CEO has started her own business that is pretty much a carbon copy of PRP! She even used the same creatives of past trials that we did at PRP! It was rather surprising to read what the company does and such. I also read the press releases of the company and the first one has a quote from the CEO/President of the company how she “hand selected” a few former PRP employees to work for her new company. Do you remember the dream I had a few weeks or maybe a month ago back where I wrote about someone had started a new business and asked me to come work for them? It was a little freaky. I should go look for that post…
Moving on…
I am thankful that Ed has been keeping me occupied with his highly entertaining text messages. He saved me from absolute boredom.
Last night Greg and I watched “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” (we jumped in for the last half hour) and the episode was a repeat and about a guy who was going to propose to his girl. Greg began to talk about his proposal idea to me (without telling me what it is) and how he feels it isn’t special enough. So I asked him to create two false scenarios and tell them to me with the original idea and I’ll tell him which one would have the most feeling for me without me knowing which is the actual idea. Unfortunately, he couldn’t think of two false scenarios so I guess he’ll never know… but I think it’s sweet that he’s so concerned about his proposal and making sure it’s perfect. He’s putting a lot of effort into this!
