I think the gray skies have invaded my happiness.
Well, maybe - I’m feeling pretty good now but earlier this morning I wasn’t as happy as I usually am for mornings. Thankfully, the moment of sadness was short lived.
In the mean time, I’ve made an appointment with my physician for a physical. I haven’t seen my physician since January 10th for a follow-up from leaving the hospital with pneumonia. He commented on that visit that he wasn’t happy with the way my lower left lobe sounded and ordered a blood test for a white blood count. The following evening, the 11th of January, my water broke, at home, and by 8am on the 12th Amelia was here. It’s weird how I can remember such details as my last visit with my physician. In any event, the appointment was supposed to be this Friday but I had to reschedule so the appointment is now on Dec. 5. The good thing is that I get to work a half day and pick up Amelia early from day care and take her to Greg’s job and show he off (she will be nearly 11 months by then); the bad is that the appointment is on a Wednesday so no head start to the weekend.
Greg informed me this evening that he received an email from his personal travel agent form NCL and informed him that if we have a party of 9 people for a 14 day cruise across the Atlantic the cost per person would be around $1500 for a Garden Villa (i think that’s the suite) - Wow! That’s a deal hard to resist! So, we need to find 7 other people within our friends/family that would like to go on a cruise with us sometime between Dec 2009 through Feb 2010; gee, I don’t think it will be that hard, plus the more people we find the cheaper the price tag!
In other news, Greg has created a new blog. The new blog is titled SimplyCarbonated and the blog is going to be about soda’s. Odd topic, I know, but a rather interesting one if you think about it. Greg and I have been trying different soda’s as a treat for each other. Usually, since we like to take pictures of just about everything, we take a picture of the soda we tried and he’s decided to create a journal of his experiences. Now, whether he’ll keep this blog more up to date than his weather and travel blogs, I don’t know so I wouldn’t hold your breath for frequent updates (sorry Greg if you’re reading this but you know it’s the truth).
There was something else I wanted to mention but I seem to have lost the thought. Guess it wasn’t important… oh well.
Heading off so Greg and play with his new blog.
