One More (work) Day

It’s Thursday!!! That means that tomorrow is Friday and my final day of work until Nov. 26!!! Can you feel my excitment?

Of course, work is going slow. But, I’ve brought in a new book to read: Airframe, another Michael Crichton book. So far, it’s ok. I’ve only read a few chapters. Though, the first chapter made think about Disney and how Disney tends to kill off a parent in the beginning of their movies (Nemo, Bambi, etc) and the first chapter in Airframe was about a couple and their 7 month old daughter being in an airplane and it sounding like it was going to crash. Of course, I thought about Greg and I with Amelia flying and that happening to us. After that first chapter was read I sent an email to Greg and told him that we’re never going to fly with Amelia (partially joking and partially serious). I don’t have a fear of flying, but don’t like the idea of dying due to an airplane crash. Yes, it is said that traveling by air is the safest means of travel but I disagree on the fact that you have time to think about your death as the plane is falling to the earth. That thought alone isn’t kosher with me.

Did I mention that Amelia pee’d on me yesterday morning? I don’t think I did. She got me pretty good too, as well as the sheets (which we washed). She’s a tricky little girl.

I was speaking to my cousin April for a good bit via email yesterday and I told her about the cruise that Greg and I are considering and she said she was all in and that she knows of a few others that would be interested. It’s beginning to look like this cruise thing might actually happen. I’ve asked Greg to contact his travel agent at NCL and ask about a 10 trip to the Carribean.

Last night Greg and I went to Target to get more baby food (it’s the cheapest there) and stocked up on the jar foods and oatmeal (had to buy extra’s for daycare and to give to Mom for next week) and I decided to buy MORE SOCKS (her socks are constantly missing) and some tights. I dressed Amelia up this morning in a skirt with tights. She looked so cute! I meant to get pictures but we were already running late. While at Target we bought other items as well and looked at the Christmas decorations. Amelia loved the animated, singing, plush things, especially the singing dog with the bells on his ears (or antlers). She was screaming back at the dog, it was another cute moment.

Next week is when Greg and I are going to put our tree up!! I am getting so excited!!
