Black Friday Shopping

Yes, it was that much fun!

Amelia woke Greg and me at 6:30am!! The girl didn’t go to bed until 9:30 the night before; why was she up to early?!? But, by 7:15, we were up and out of bed, showered and getting ready for the day. We left a little after 8:15am and were at Best Buy before 8:30 (I am really enjoying the close proximity of all my favorite stores). I was able to get an amazing parking spot right in front of Best Buy and our shopping trip was smooth; Best Buy was very organized and Greg and I were impressed and Greg and I were in and out of the store in thirty minutes (we got all the items on our list, except for the DVD-R’s)!

Amazing Parking Spot:

After Best Buy, we headed over to Toys-R-Us to do a little shopping for Amelia. We bought the two items that we came to get:

And:

Toys-R-Us wasn’t as organized as Best Buy and it took us a little longer to find the two items. We were in line for 10 minutes before we reached the registers.

I didn’t take a picture of the line that was behind us (there were some grumpy people)!

After Toys-R-Us we headed to Golden Corral for breakfast, which was very good! The place was practically empty.

I gave Amelia some eggs and pancakes. She ate them, though not much. I believe she was still full from breakfast and her snack.

Amelia was asleep before we were out of the parking lot; lucky for her we only had a three minute car ride home (have i mentioned how much I love the close proximity of the stores?).

Greg and I were home by 10:30am. It was a fun trip and we’re not done. We are going to head back over to Target later in the day.

Yay! The Christmas Season has begun!
