The Bad & The Good

First, there were accidents galore this morning! There was an accident on every route possible to the babysitters; 97 and quarterfield rd, 100 and hospital drive, 295 at arundel mills - all three major ways to get to the babysitters. So, we took it slow this morning and left around 9 - i should have called the sitter but I didn’t think about it until after the fact.

After dropping Amelia off, I headed up to the dentist for my follow-up. I was a half hour early and they saw me right away. Bonus points!! But, the visit wasn’t good. My healing isn’t going so well; my stitches came out too early - and to make a long, painful story short - the gum was reopened, socket completely cleaned and flushed, packed, and then more stitches. I was in their for an hour. And, to make this trip all the better, for some reason the Novocaine was wearing off rapidly so I felt pretty much everything. I was shaking so much and crying (not big sobbing tears, but the little ones that escape out the corners of your eye) while they were working on me. I was not a happy patient. I was prescribed more narcotics (I haven’t filled them, yet) and a different antibiotic to take just in case. I have a follow-up appointment next Wednesday; I just hope that will be a happy visit.

After the dentist, Greg and I headed down to AC Moore and bought $50 worth of scrap booking material! We were getting pretty excited about the pages to make and talked about making a book for us and Amelia’s first year (and any other major events that may happen in our life *ahem… wedding*). We spent a good hour in there looking at everything. I was rather surprised at how busy the place was at 11:30am when we were checking out. Oh, and the old lady behinde Greg and me was cracking us up! She was so impatient about the lady in front of us with a huge shopping cart full of items (nearly $300). She was complaining pretty loudly.

After AC Moore’s, we headed over to the post office and we bought our stamps and put the cards in the mail and then went to Super Fresh to get more yogurt and other small items (noodles so I can eat lunch). Nothing big.

So, now I am home. Hurting a little; tired some, and thinking about starting the new scrap book. I told Greg that he should buy me flowers and a get well card because I am ‘injured’. He just laughed at me.

Hope everyone is having a happy hump day!
