It’s About Me

I’m Amelia’s Mom, Greg’s Lover, Sean’s Sister and Sue’s daughter. So many things in one person.

I’ve lived in Maryland all my life (28 years at the time of this writing). I have one younger brother, Sean. No pets, at this time but I’ve had a ferret and a cat at the same time (and they got along for the most part).

I am in the process of a divorce (no hard feelings) and in love for the first time in my life (with Greg).

I’m still learning how to parent my own kid (did a lot of babysitting when I was younger, but this is different); at least I have a girl for the first go around (I’ve heard boys are a little more challenging). So far I think I am doing a good job - she is alive after all.

I enjoy many and just about all things. I am a bit odd about a lot of things, especially food and there textures.

I like horror, sci-fi, mystery, suspense movies and books as well as comedy, action, some history and then maybe a chick flick (when I feel for it).

I’ve always enjoyed music. I used to play the trombone when I was in high school. Wished I continued when I graduated. I listen to a wide variety of music - mainly alternative. Though I enjoy the aggressive type (System of a Down) as well as Rave/House/Techno stuff.

I’ve always enjoyed photography. I like to capture things in a different angle. I wouldn’t say I am a avid photographer but more along the lines of amature. Sometimes I get lucky with a really amazing picture. Also, I love the macro setting.

I am facinated by the human body; how it works, how it doesn’t work, how to fix it, and everything in between. I am in the process (though on break) of becoming a nurse (as is my goal in life). It’s been a slow process but I haven’t lost my dream.
