With all the research and details it takes to plan a wedding, I thought I would share items of interest; such as links and resources (mainly for the Maryland Area) and details of what Greg and I are planning for our wedding.

This is all in the early stages at this point so there won’t be much added at this time, but keep checking back.

Resources and Links:

The Knot: is chock full of information and resources! You can do all your organizing, for free, on their website.
David’s Bridal: is more than just dresses! They offer invitations, wedding favors, as well as a neat feature where you can create a virtual wedding party in the dresses and accessories of your choice.

wedOrama: has many neat features to create your very own wedding page. And, if you use promo code: WRKRF07 you get 50% off the site fee!
eWedding: gives you the choice of the free service or a packaged service
OurWeddingDay: is a free site where you get both, planning and organizing, and personal website creation
MyWedding: is a free personal wedding website
The Knot: hosts a wedding website for free as well. Their site is similar to OurWeddingDay’s
WeddingTracker: is a paid site but if you use promo code: KNOT50 and you get 50% off the site fee

Invitations Etc:

SaveTheDate: is a site the specializes in “Save the Date” products. Their prices are pretty good (as Greg and I are looking for Save the Date magnets)
Wedding Stamps: “These stamps make the right first impression on your guests”
Zazzle: Another source for customized stamps and many other items

Plus Size Dresses and Lingerie:

David’s Bridal: many locations throughout the US; pretty good prices (from what I’ve seen) and have a pretty big selection of Plus Sizes
Hips and Curves: great website for ‘what’s underneath’ the dress. I’ve been wanting to order garmets from this site for a while just didn’t have anyone to show them off to… until now!
The Bridal World: has a pretty good selection and is located in NY (could be a fun day trip if I find something of interest…)
About Curves: is a local shop in Baltimore that specializes in Plus Size lingerie
